2012 At A Glance A Message from Matt Given the importance of our green mission and ongoing goal to improve communities and the lives of those in need, I have always had the philosophy of expecting great things from the people that work for me here at Global Green. In 2012, it is no different. Each part of our organization -- every member of Team Global Green, for that matter -- is energized in 2012 to do groundbreaking work. Greener Hoods Helping 8 Communities "Cities are responsible for up to 70% of global warming pollution, but they can also be the laboratories for climate-friendly solutions that save money and improve health and quality of life," says Walker Wells, director of our Green Urbanism Program. He and his team will soon be helping local leaders from eight communities -- in Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, Colorado, California, Kentucky, and Pennsylvania -- to implement green projects.
